Kanesbury Care is an independent, local, family-run group of care homes, dedicated to providing high-quality care in environments that truly feel like home.
For over 25 years, the business has been passed from one generation to the next, growing from a single home to a trusted group of six. With plans already in place for the future, we remain committed to maintaining the same family values that have shaped our journey so far.

From Luxury Care to Kanesbury Care – Our Journey So Far
From our earliest home to where we are today, our journey has been shaped by family values, long-standing relationships and a commitment to exceptional care. Explore the key moments that have defined Kanesbury Care.
Our Beginnings
Our journey began in 2000 with the acquisition of Seabourne House, originally a 28-bed home. As demand grew, it was thoughtfully expanded in 2005–2006 to create a 45-bed home designed to better support residents’ needs.
In 2003, Aranlaw House joined the group and was redeveloped into a purpose-built 47-bed home, opening in 2006. These early years laid the foundations of our approach — combining high-quality environments with truly personalised care.
Our People
At the heart of our story is our team. Many of our colleagues have been part of the journey for over a decade, creating a culture of familiarity, trust and continuity.
This long-standing commitment means residents are cared for by people who truly know them — building meaningful relationships with both residents and their families.
A Commitment to Excellence
Our dedication to high-quality care has been recognised over time, with Regency Manor becoming our first home to achieve an ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating, followed by Seabourne House and Aranlaw House.
These achievements reflect the compassion, professionalism and consistency of our teams across all of our homes.
